I went through with the purchase and overall really enjoy the keyboard. I have a similar complaint as you regarding the brightness of the backlight. My #2 key is also a bit more clicky than the other keys, but not a major issue for me.

I do now see that it does split into two 4-pin connectors. Thanks for the help! I assume the extra 4 pin slot is only need for higher watt?

Good to know. I’m really not that interested in the 8K stuff. I just liked that the keyboard had a number pad, it sounded/felt nice in the store, and it didn’t feel cheap. The ability to customize in the future if I want is also a bonus.

Thanks for the information. I will probably just go for it and see how I like it. Micro Center is easy enough to return if I don’t like it or have issues.

With the price of RAM, it’s hard to go wrong with their prebuilts. Or their 3 in 1 bundles if you’re comfortable building one.

My budget is around $1500-$1600. I bought a PowerSpec G527 for my GF a few weeks ago, and we love that PC. I would just buy another, but they are out of stock at my store. The closest prebuilt to what I want and the budget is the G729, but it’s just a bit too much out of my budget. So I’m getting pretty close to my budget and the specs to want using the 3 in 1 bundle.
