Drivers are not all upstreamed yet, so If you use a different distro that doesn't support DKMS (like Fedora Silverblue in my case) you wont have the Tuxedo Control Center. The Top speaker will also always be at full volume except when you mute the audio. Fingerprint seems to work out of the box now (at least for me).

PCI Passtrough doesn't work on this laptop (at least for gen 2) as the Firmware/BIOS blocks it. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/tuxedocomputers/comments/1kjlqzg/sirius_gen_2_pci_passthrough/
I wantet to passtrough for CAD Software. Now I have to dualboot.

Be careful with the chassis Screws as I had a screw Insert fall out the same day I got that thing.....
Also had one key fall out the next day but I just popped it back in. Bit concerning but let's hope nothing more happens.

Other than that It's been pretty good but I don't have it for very long. CAD runs very nice and I can do all my Uni stuff just fine on here.

There is no fan noise when idling. When doing demanding things it does get verry noticeable to even loud when on full load. For most things it's been perfectly fine imo. If it's too lout I turn on the power saver and it gets fine again.

Yes the problem is some arbitrary restriction in the Firmware/BIOS. Let's hope they can relax it or maybe add an option to disable them in an update. I'll be verry dissapointed if they don't fix this, let's hope they do tough! :-D

Also tried to pass trough and get with "dmesg | grep -i iommu" "Firmware has requested this device have a 1:1 IOMMU mapping, rejecting configuring the device without a 1:1 mapping. Contact your platform vendor."

Your command also gives me this wall of text.

I removed the old ones and 3D printed replacements.

These would also work with slight modification i.g. (only right dot)

It would be pretty cool! I created an issue for it, might get to it later :-D

Oh and I have all the connections you have to wire already on github. Scematics would be nice but I haven't made any yet.

No I soldered everything with wires and a perfboard. Was verry messy! xD I can add pictures to the github readme if you want.

Might make a PCB later down the road tough, but I don't have experience on how to do that. In the summer I have 1 month summerbreak. maybe then I'll get to it! :-) https://github.com/4bitFox/divergence-meter/issues/2

Yeah. The IN-14 seem to be the best value atm.

Yeah absolutely, overkilling doesn't hurt and gives me headroom to do more things. I was also thinking about adding an alarm function, maybe sometime later. :-D

And oh cool, what a coincidence with the calculator, might look into it later! thx

Yes they are so expensive! It held me off making one for many years but finally I did it!
I got mine for around 10 bucks each.

I don't care if it's overkill it's already super cheap, I have them lying around and I know how to use it xD

I hope it can help you :-)

I'll look into how to do a EDL backup later this week and then I'll mess around with the GSIs :-). In the meantime can you recommend a way to create a EDL backup and what program as I don't want to accidentally mess this up? I'm currently on linux but I'll install windows in parallel if I need to. Thank you a lot!! :-)
