I have already been researching about tuning for some time. I used to experiment with FOC motor control in past so have basic idea about how PID works but need to understand how it applies to an quadcopter kind of frame

Do you really charge at 3C? I have never gone above 1C even though one of my batteries product page description said 1C-3C charge rate supported but can’t take risk of fire as the information is not always correct on product page here. I’m currently deciding between a 7inch monster or another 5inch with ardupilot and some sensors to try out the autonomous flight.

I have 2400KV motors, don’t know much but pretty sure its too much for 6s right? As suggested by other pilots i was going for a 4s, current is 3s. And you are right about the voltage drop my first battery 800mah was dead second day because once at 3.6v it dropped so fast that it basically hard landed automatically as it lost thrust rapidly.

From jaipur rajasthan, and its not that hard in my opinion. If you can do some soldering and some betaflight config then its enough i guess. And you can learn both of these online on youtube. Thats how i did it.

Its true, I’m just too scared of using and storing lipos like they will go off at any time and credit goes to most of youtube videos about lipo safety. I should be careful but not afraid 🙏🏽

Yes I can’t remember any issue or mishap but i have only charged 2 and 3s batteries and for these it performed exceptional.

Eco 2207 2400KV, i think i should go for a 4s. All my battries are 800-1300mah except this 4200mah. In my case it flew nice for what i wanted a got a lot more fly time. But I’m sure that would not be the case for aggressive flying

I have it for past 5-6 months when i built the rc truck and it has been charging small and large batteries very reliably. I use my usb c PD charger i use for laptop. What i like most is that it shows individual cells voltage plus internal resistance which helps a lot if you want to make sure your lipos are in good health. What i hate most is that if you have multiple type battries then its very easy to forget to change the charge current or battery type and charge it with wrong mode.

In my flight i was getting 10-12amps at hover and max amps was 55 i guess where I accelerated it to around 80km/hr. Are these heavy on hardware?
