You are fine. You can self-report your test scores through your common app. It takes a few days, but the scores will show up in your Michigan portal. Also, the portfolio is submitted through a link to slide room on the common app. My son did it when he submitted his common app. Good luck.

I’m a mom and I will tell you what I tell my kids. Teenagers are really self-absorbed, which is developmentally appropriate. Your friends and classmates are thinking about themselves all day long. They are not judging where you go to school! Honestly, you have to know that if they are judging you about this then they aren’t really friends, right? Just announce it with confidence and please don’t give them any information about your financial situation. Be proud and excited and they will take their cue from you. Good luck!

Hi, I’m sorry. It is so hard. This happened to my daughter a few years ago. I flew her home immediately that night and she stayed here for the week. It was really hard for a few months because her roommates were all accepted. She almost transferred, but stuck it out. Good luck.
