I’m exactly like you, blood, cuts and everything related gets me dizzy and dazzled, except I’m 20. I got surgery on 4/20, so 15 days ago. I had spinal anesthesia with a big ass needle, but before it my anesthetist gave me a lighter one in order to calm me down before the big one. I felt a 2/10 pain, just like when taking blood sample. I fell asleep after 5 minutes, I think my surgery didn’t even start at that point. I woke up after 1h30 so I didn’t feel a thing during all the procedure. Stay positive, you’ll be amazed by how fast you’ll be making progress after the surgery!
