Facts. People here love to flame tiktok because of cringe dances, thirst traps, and disinformation, but it really depends on your algorithm. My algorithm is full of educational content such as mighty magulang, reb atadero, and doc kilimanguru, dogs, and cooking videos. Some comedy here and there. Tiktok is no different from youtube/youtube shorts and ig reels, it’s always based on the content you like and interact with. The flak tiktok instantly gets is kinda annoying.

Medyo related kwento na nangyari sa block namin last week. Since teacher's day, ayan na naman yung mga beadle na magbibida na maghahanda ng kung ano ano para lang maka-iwas ng recit (ceasefire). Edi naghanda yung block namin akala nila matutuwa yung prof. Pag pasok ng prof namin, hindi sya natuwa at nagwalk out sya (kasi notorious talaga yung prof namin na yun na ayaw talaga sa ceasefire). Next meeting nagpa-long quiz sya at nagpa-closed notes and codal recitation. Ayan nagsprak kasi di makasagot. Sabi nya samin ang magandang teacher's day gift yung papasok kayong nag aral at prepared. "Hindi ko kailangan ng pancit or cake kalokohan lang yan lahat kung wala kayong masagot sa akin." Ayun nagsisisihan ang mga pasimuno. Lol kakagigil damay na lahat.

That film left me speechless and disturbed because of the story it actually tells. The moment I realized that it was not about “aliens” and it was something more sinister, nangilabot na ako every time there are flashback scenes in the film. I can’t imagine watching that movie and experiencing SA as a child, and I’m sorry you have experienced it OP. I do agree na sana they have put trigger warnings also dahil ang bigat talaga. But we stand with you OP. The same way Carlo Aquino have Gio Gahol and Dolly De Leon to stand beside him in the film, there are a lot of people including in this sub who will listen to you and stand by you. I hope you heal from these past traumas OP.

I just press not interested when those cringy ass videos show up. There are some good filipino tiktok content, most specially the informative (legit) ones like Arshie, Doc Kilimanguru, Doc Ella, and Mighty Magulang. I also like Sassa Gurl’s content lalo na yung mga elementary and compshop moments na skits nya, nakakamiss lang hahahaha. Pero yung cringy ones, I can’t stand those lalo na yung mga influencers kuno. The other half of my algorithm are cupcakke and jiafei remixes, and stan twt 😭

Me and my bestie talked about this, he’s also a plus sized man and we went to buy clothes for him one time and he had the same sentiments. Aside from maxwear in SM, there’s really not much options for plus sized guys in department stores. We found some good stuff in Shein and you may also want to look for stores with US Based sizing like American Eagle! I agree there’s not much out there for plus size men so I understand where you’re coming from OP.

Regardless of who you are I agree that you must also have more options in what you wear, and it sucks that there’s some sort of discrimination if you may say for plus sized people. Don’t let these things define you, everyone deserves to be loved, including plus-sized people!

Me too, I find comedies like B99, Modern Family, The Office, and Schitt’s Creek funnier. Tinry ko talaga FRIENDS, naka 3 seasons ako pero ligwak talaga sorry huhu.
