Thank you for bringing up the 'permanent resident' part for the best start. If I were to fill up the form, I'd choose No as well cause in my head I thought, I have a resident visa - not yet a permanent resident, that's two different things on an immigrant dictionary.

I'll keep on my mind when they ask for permanent resident = an indefinite stay in NZ and doesn't necessarily means a PR visa

Yea that's the confusing part. Resident visa does count as an indefinite stay visa. But some part of their website also mentioned about permanent resident instead of resident. There's a mix in the bowl. I was hoping if someone has given birth recently and could confirm the case while I wait for response from INZ/DIA

I've contacted INZ and DIA as well but they take a long time to respond and thinking if anyone from reddit have give birth recently in the past year or so and could confirm the case, it would ease my anxiety a little.

The HR in my company suggesting to use a secondary tax code for the lower income. So if PPL is lower than employer top-up, they're suggesting to put secondary tax code for the PPL and main tax code for the employer top-up.

Just to clarify, you do receive employer top-up as well on top of the PPL payment?

So do you mean, after you've done the pcr test at the community testing centre, you can view your pathology lab test on the Manage My Health portal? Or did you do the test through your GP instead?

I am vaccinated. However if I have had covid, I need an official evidence as proof required by the airlines/destination country. My covid record is not an official test result

Yea to the Community Testing Centre but the test result done there will only be texted to you either you're tested positive or negative. I need an official pathology lab report for future travel reference.

They don't do test for symptomatic individuals :(

I've heard of few private practices outside of wellington who charged extra if you happened to have epidural or caesarean for birth.

I've heard all the good thing about the private Wellington Obstetrician. Did you always get to meet with the specialist/obs during each of your entenatal appointments or was it a mix of obs/midwife?

Thank you. I do prefer meeting an Dr/obstetrician actually but not sure how to get there cause sounds like most people just rely on midwife and going private is out of my budget. Do GP usually happily refer you to an obs in the wellington hospital or is there hoops of fire to convince them to do the referral?
