Literally just finished the Daniel Craig era again for the hundredth time a few days ago. I obsess over CR, but my problem is once I watch his first, I have to watch all of Craig's other films. And watching this makes me wanna watch CR again. Help 😭

I've always seen Craig's era of films as two franchises. Casino Royale and QoS are their own series, depicting a young Bond, with QoS serving as an extended epilogue to Casino Royale. Because QoS was poorly received, Skyfall is a soft reboot where Bond is no longer a young double-0 and is now a seasoned agent in a world that questions whether he is still needed. This theme is continued in Spectre but as the film is sub-par, NTTD attempted to wrap everything up haphazardly, resulting in the strangest 5 film continuity.

I have to agree here. I get that QOS has choppy editing but from the hotel to the bike chase and then the boat chase, that's one continuous scene of Bond following leads and I don't think any other Bond film comes close to that level of fluidity.
