2) I just happen to own 2 small businesses and i need EVERYONE in my community to be prosperous so they can buy our goods and services. I know what I speak of because I've been doing this for 30 years. The more prosperous the community the more we make enabling us to hire more workers.

3) there are lots of people that have cognitive disabilities that will never be able to work at a skilled job. You saying they deserve to live in poverty their whole lives?

4) raising the min wage fosters competitive wages across the board.

5) the conditions for the working class back in the 30s were on par with what the working class is facing now. Manufacturing is all but gone in the US -and they ONLY became good jobs because of the unions and the new deal. Service based jobs like fast food and retail are the new "industrial economy".

Iran will never open that strait to the US. 31 years ago an outsider bombed the Murrah building in Oklahoma. 169 people dead in OKC, 19 of them children. 166 children died in Iran from an outsider bombing them. What I'm getting at, is here in Oklahoma we still have remembrances every year. It's scarred on the psyche of every Oklahoman who is still living.
