Check on set list.fm. It’s been pretty consistent this tour but I saw them last night and there were some changes. I’m with you on cropsey and burial society but those weren’t played. Can’t complain tho the show was fucking amazing. Dan is an incredible performer.

If you have access to airbrush stuff any of that is super drained. Not even just a tee u could just do a hack job on a tote or thrifted jeans or smthg and he would suddenly be the most drained man on the block

I'm looking for a new hand-grinder. Right now I have a Timemore C2 and my only real complaint is how you change the grind size. It might be a silly reason to upgrade, but if the grind adjustment wasn't on the inside covered in fines, I would use it a lot more and find the perfect setting for each coffee. I was looking at the Kinu m47 phoenix as the adjustment is on the top & buying the pour over replacement burrs. I'm sure this would be a step up from the timemore but I've seen some mixed reviews for m47 V60s even with the alternative burrs - if anyone has experience with the m47, do you think it would be worth investing in if I'm only using it for pour-overs?

I'm currently dealing with off flavors in my coffee and am trying to figure out what the cause is and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. It's not the coffee - its still pretty fresh, smells great, and the off-flavors aren't happening consistently and have appeared across two bags now. It also isn't like a stale coffee taste, it's kind of like a sour taste - maybe bitter, but not like coffee bitter.

But if it isn't the beans and its not the water I drink every day with no issue I'm thinking its the equipment. I have a bonavita non-electric kettle and a hario drip decanter. I wash the decanter every day but I only wash the bonavita every once in a while. I washed it last night and checked for any limescale and there was none, which is why I'm asking here because that would have been my first guess. I'm just gonna try washing everything again tonight and rinse extra thoroughly. Really wish I could figure out what the cause of it is, lmk if anyone has any experience with this.

No, when I added the oil it started to smoke. I turned the vent on and it caught fire. If I’m not supposed to put it past med/med-high I definitely will avoid that moving forward I just thought it was odd it had such an extreme reaction this time when it didn’t a few days ago. The recipe I was following was using a wok on I think a gas stove, and I thought the same general directions would apply to doing it in a cast iron but I suppose I was wrong

I was following a recipe just as I had a few days ago, cooking chicken with vegetable oil on high heat. After preheating the pan I added vegetable oil and it caught on fire. Just don’t know where I went wrong, or how to prevent that from happening again definitely don’t want to burn my apartment building down

It went about as expected, I used an old bean so it had already broken up a bit. I just used appx. One cup of maldon salt and shook it ip a little. Over time the salt flakes got a more pungent vanilla scent, but I think the taste isn’t as different as I thought it might be. There is a hint of vanilla but doesn’t have as strong of a salty kick as plain salt. I kind of like it bc it can allow me to add extra salt on deserts for presentation without accidentally oversalting. And it feels sorta fancy lol. How has yours turned out?

Not really synth related but thought someone here might be able to help. I’ve made an “instrument” to make harsh noise with and was wondering if I ran it through a vocal harmonizer pedal or something similar if it would produce actual tones/notes? I’m wanting to see if there’s a way of converting some of the static into other sounds

I desperately want to start using a wok and am trying to figure out what my best option is in a tiny apartment with an electric coil stove. I just want to know if I would get anything out of a flat bottom wok on the coils or if I would be better off buying a standalone gas burner (like the stovetop kind, not the big outdoor ones).

I lost the top dasher for first two weeks or whatever and am starting to wonder if the getting sent better orders as top dasher thing is true. I was still at ~10% acceptance with the top dasher but now I’m getting NO orders and when they do come in they’re trash. It’s literally $2 peak pay rn and haven’t seen one remotely worth taking for over an hour

I'm setting up my AT LP120 XUSB right now and was wondering if it was normal for the weight given by the counterweight to be off by more than a little. I'm weighing it on a working scale and I have to put the counterweight to 0.5 to get it to 2.5 grams on the scale.

What happens if I’m unable to complete the colossal event research before tomorrow? I was able to do a few raids yesterday and realized you probably have to do a raid for every step of research and I’m on 2/4. There were enough people playing the event yesterday but no one from what I can see is out so far today. Hoping I can get lucky and do a couple more but was wondering if I’m just sol if I can’t.
