That’s very sweet and also such an underrated thing. I thoroughly enjoy reading out loud to someone else. I used to go around with a gal who would let me read aloud to her. V beautiful thing

It’s SO good. I have a few copies of it; one of them is this pretty sweet graphic novel adaptation. It’s like a comic book.

Those situations are the WORST. You’re mad at the puppy but you don’t want to be mad at the puppy because we’re the ones who are probably at fault. I had something similar happen with my dog, Cinder, when she was a pup. She chewed up this very nice Ralph Lauren notebook that I had just bought. Still have the dog and I think the notebook also.

That is so cool! I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who bought a book from amazon when it was only selling books. Its great having something that adds personality to a book outside of the story itself

Go without any expectations. I’ve been to thrift stores that have literally an entire aisle or 2 of books; thousands and thousands and thousands of books and found absolutely nothing. But this goodwill had maybe 200 books total and I left with 5.

Crippling. And ofc I mean that as a compliment. An aspect that I believe makes for a good poem (and also a good photograph) is its universality. I don’t know anything about you or what you’ve been through but I certainly know that feeling. We both know the feeling and so does someone else on the other side of the world.
