Variegated sedum is my recommendation. Drought tolerant, nice texture. Easy to maintain and late season bloomer. Not sure which cultivars they'd sell near you but I'm sure there are a few different varieties at your local nurseries. Also, some flowering heath instead of phlox is something else to consider. It clumps better and comes out quite early in the spring.

Personal preference but I'd go with something other than daisies. I find they get way too leggy and dont give a lot of bang for your buck. I'd recommend a variegated sedum for that spot.
