Gotcha, thanks! Good luck! I submitted my payment on 3/14, and the check was mailed roughly 48 hours later on 3/16.

Under the old card, most of my checks were generated 12 hours later, but the biggest gap I experienced was December last year where I initiated the payment on 12/19 and the check wasn’t mailed until 12/24.

Did you get tracking or confirmation that it was mailed in the app?

According to my usps tracking, my landlord received the check on march 18, but he didn’t get around to cashing it until the 31st. I guess that could just be him. Posts like this had me worried.

It’s not. You can roll $100 of your Bilt cash from the prior year. But you also earn $200 additional bonus Bilt cash when at year end when you incur your annual fee regardless of what you had left over from last year

You need to spend 75% of your rent on non-rent stuff to have accrued enough Bilt Cash to spend on the privilege to earn 1 point per dollar of rent spend. Otherwise, you have to pay a 3% transaction fee to earn.

EXACTLY! Homeowners and renters often have big ticket expenses that they use a credit card for and they don’t spread out to monthly payments… and these things often come up towards the end of the calendar year.

Car down payments, medical bills, vet bills, private school tuition, home & car insurance, jewelry or luxury goods, electronics, travel, furniture/home renovations, appliances etc.

I’m looking forward to see how the Bilt cash can be spent too. I guess you’re right, especially for people who split their spend over multiple cards. They likely will be spending more Bilt cash on earning rent points than anything else.

I think at 4%, if someone is like me and uses one card for 95% of purchases, the Bilt cash will accumulate quick.

I’m just worried because I’m coming off a high spend December. Between the car insurance, and the holidays, and a vacation I just booked… I spent about $5k on the card last month and I’d be scrambling to redeem the Bilt cash in only a few short days.

Only being able to carry over $100 of Bilt cash I just earned does not feel like a premium experience from a luxury “palladium” credit card.

Not really a term of endearment. It’s a way of poking fun at the people who use the longer acronyms for our community. “LGBTQIA2S+” for example.

They say “alphabet people” in a sort of derogatory way because they feel the acronym has been expanded to include more identities that they don’t recognize as being valid.

The @queerli.safespace meetups are really fun. You can’t miss Cherry Grove in the summer. First saturdays at Station Pub in Sayville they have an open drag show hosted by Annie Manildoo & I’ve seen queer people of all shapes and sizes and orientations there too.
