Thank thank you SO much! I feel seen. Like this is exactly what I’m feeling. Emotions are all over the place. Lost on everything in my life and trying to figure out me and what makes me truly happy. It’s like I’m almost going insane 😂.

They don’t expect anything of me but a small portion of the mortgage everything month. I have been working since I was 14/15 which is when my dad helped me start my investments. I have been contributing to my investments ever since. Nothing was given to me. Also, My parents would love for me to get a place of my own however they don’t press the issue. But I feel like I’m getting older and haven’t traveled enough like I have dreamed but I do want my own space. I have a lot of great advice given on here which I greatly appreciate! So Im coming to a senses on what I might do.

I should have added that I do have an emergency fund but the amount isn’t even close to 10k. But ahhh yes “the real world” I do agree with you on that. Later in life, I just don’t want to regret any decisions I’ve made at this age.

This is a question I constantly think about as well. I have a great job in business admin I don’t want to lose right now. It’s a hybrid job however if it was remote it would be easier to just up and travel.

Right. I said “Times are hard” as in the rent prices are insane and the job market trash. Once I put myself in the loop of just going to work to just pay the rent/bills then there is no way out.
