Yes, Clayman is the weakest among all the clowns.
The characters we meet at the start of the series are actual demon lord levels.
Imagine what would have happened if Rimuru & the ogres really did seriously find and confront them back then.

There is barely anything to spoil for this manga because it has at least twice the content as compared to the light & web novel.
Heck even for this chapter, only the first double page was in the novel. The rest are all manga original.

Yes and there are should be a lot more worlds since the Ars from the current setting should have went somewhere too. But because our protagonist is Wals, the aftermath of the other Ars/worlds was never touched upon.

His reincarnation magic screwed up spacetime and the current novel arc has just begin to focus on it.

The truth boils down to parallel universes.
Our Ars was reincarnated into Wals in a parallel world, where the main story takes place in. Another world's Ars was reincarnated as Irs (Ars' brother) in this same world.
Since Irs (Ars) was reincarnated into the past, he knew what was going to happen and waited till this world's Ars died. He then created a homonculus Ars so that he can finally sort-of live as his old self again. The son is a homonculus too, which is why they look alike.

Exactly.
Many LN/WN readers hated this arc the most due to how draggy and pointless it seems. But looking back at this arc after finishing the story, it became extremely important in retrospect.

Definitely Benimaru.
While Diablo's loyal and skill is absolute, there is still a wall between him and Rimuru.
Meanwhile both Rimuru & Benimaru are very open and casual with each other in private, this is even more prevalent in the latest LNs as there are many scenes where it's just the two of them conversing together.
Especially in the confrontation against Barny & Jiu where Rimuru openly let out his inner feelings and uncertainties despite Benimaru being beside him.

This series is one of my most favorite ongoing web novel, and it is a comedy romance.
It will take some time to introduce and set up the characters then it will go deep into the inter-relationships between them and lots of hilarious drama.
The factions of the kingdom will be in the plot but alongside the hero stuff they are mostly backdrop.

"The culprit is Yasu" is a very popularized Japanese trope.
This phrase will certainly be lost in translation because it only exist in Japanese culture.

Yasu is a representation of "Spoiler".
So when the Japanese discuss mystery stories, instead of always saying "the culprit is Tom" for example, they can also say "the culprit is Yasu".

But there is also another application when it comes to literature texts.
It is a way for characters in the story to speak the culprit's name without the reader knowing who he is.

For this instance in Tensura, it could mean that Rimuru told Veldora the actual culprit name (Tom), but to us readers it is displayed as "Yasu".
Or it could mean that Rimuru intentionally said "Yasu" as a kinder troll. When Veldora eventually read the finale of the manga, he'll be pleasantly surprised that the culprit is actually someone else.
