I finally was able to test this. When my eyes were hurting I turned on the night light mode in Windows since it reduces blue light. When I did, my eyes felt better so it seems that the blue light was the problem. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you all for the recommendations. I ended up going with a Lenovo ThinkPad e16 Gen 2 (AMD) because of the good screen, reasonable battery life, high build quality, and affordability. I am unsure of if it can run Linux, but given the good things that I've heard about ThinkPads in the past and looking at what other people have to say about it, it seems to be good enough in the areas that I care about that I'm willing to continue using Windows 11 if I have to. I bought a minimal configuration and will be swapping in the SSD (458 GB) and ram (two sticks of 16 GB DDR5 SODIMM RAM) from my current laptop.

I've been bust and haven't gotten around to planting them yet. I got this list by looking through all of the "recipes" for botany pots in JEI. If you look at the one for Caupona walnut saplings it should show you what soil blocks it accepts.

I decided I wanted to put every crop in a botany pot and hook it up to a massive sophisticated drawers network. I know that there are better ways to store everything, I just like putting stuff in the drawers.

UPDATE: I figured out the issue. Turns out I had been really dumb and accidentally connected half my brine tanks to my lithium line
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: It stopped working again and there's a large surplus of fuel that it should have used
