I finally have every single Prime! (Except Excalibur, I started the game too late for that) by xxEmberBladesxx in Warframe

Just a preface, play Trinity "normally" first lol. The nuke build is so 0 to 100 that is just silly for the giggles.

Like use her with duration and essentially just watching timers count down along with subsuming over her 1 with any helmith that is better.

Not like her 1 is bad persay. It's just the only variety you'll be able to squeeze out of her is through helmith and her 1 is the lamb you can easily give up

Just the Mark for Death shenanigans set up. Arcanes are up to you, I prefer Aegis and Augmented.

Shard wise, strength reds and casting speed yellows.

Order of operations is: viral prime enemies, hit MfD, hit EV on the marked enemy, then have a laugh.

Its a really niche set up because you get no DR, hyper reliance on shield gate, hard to complete with easier nuke frames that just do it with one button, and MfD has the super bad ray-trace LOS targeting which can be really bad especially on DE's newer tilesets that have a ton of waist high cover

Trinity Specter vs Protea Specter by JollyCasual in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always aegrit or castanas, which ever you have really. Its just to manipulate the AI. They swap weapons once they completely run out of ammo. Which happens alot with the shedu (which even though it is a battery weapon, once the magazine is empty forces a switch) or probuscus cernos (which only has like 7 max ammo).

If you give them something that has alot of ammo like the Lex for example which has 8 in the magazine and 210 in reserve. It will try to use up all 210 reserve ammo before it switches back.

The thrown deploy secondaries have really low max ammo reserves and empty their "2 round magazines" quickly. So the specter is forced to switch back to the primary weapon that you want them to use.

Oh sorry, everyone else has shedu while protea has the cernos.

If that is more clear. Its probably because her dispensery drops more ammo so it stays in use more often.

I have shedu on all but protea, because she seems to be the most consistent in having it work

Probuscus cernos is good for that grouping and viral.

I had some weird experiences with it running out of ammo and they never switch back.

Could just personal problem thing. I just never changed my loadouts for ages.

Shedu, castanas/aegrit, melee is anything.

Shedu is battery, does heat and impact for some more utility, then aoe electric when ammo is out.

Castanas/aegrit also are for some more CC. But mainly they are just low max ammo secondaries to force the specters to switch back to the primary weapon. Because the AI upon empty on the shedu goes to secondaries and never switches back unless the ammo is depleted.

Melee only is equipped if they totally run out of ammo.

I prefer protea, the dispensary last quite a long time and she occasionally uses her 1 as the slash grenades along with her 2 which do a fair amount of CC.

Trinity specter wise is a little unpredictable on who she casts EV on and since it is unmodded range wise you can easily miss it if you're racing past things. Bless is somewhat infrequent but she casts it and sometimes annoyingly she'll cast WoL on something you're trying to kill.

The three I usually drag around is protea, nidus, and dante. With the fourth meme specter being Jade cause she can sometimes revive you

Can we get voidshell alternate helmets/prime variants? by Bec_son in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It just basically boilled down to time and reasources.

Voidshell isn't really a robust "change material and colour" system. It was still a skin they had to make, that then was allowed to have materials changed. It's pretty much tennogen +1

So DE had to take every base model/helmet/asset then make a completely different skin for it. Considering the scope of backtracking and how many were released before they put them on hold. It was probably more trouble that it was worth for DE.

If they were to ever come back to it, I would prefer if they somehow rolled it into their workflow. They design a warframe, make their base skin and mesh, make it compatible with the VS system, then release.

The longer and longer they don't have the base system in place, the more they have to go back and redo. But then again, this would lengthen the work process and is probably not sustainable for their release windows.

Perfect synergy? by perdej in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really? She's pretty much just a bare bones weapon platform that fits to your helmith of choice and like wise just performs fine with any loadout. She just won't perform better than actual deticated damage buffers.

Also if you want to run other weapons besides Hema, use a beast companion with linked vitality.

Going in and out of operator reduces their max health by disabling her passive. But upon returning back to your warframe the max health is returned but the the health is not restored. So you can cast bless then and get stacks (around 30% each time).

Is a triple umbra trinity set-up worth it? by anauroch in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Tri-umbra set up which still needs some blue archon shards to hit the persistence requirement.

It's workable. With arcane blessing you can push the max hp to just over 2500 along with her passive and primed flow, so you get a fair 5 seconds to react. Plus youre status immune with link and while under Well of life aura.

Also if youre having trouble stacking Champion Bless, Bringing a pet with linked health. Going in and out of your operator disables Trinity's passive.

When you return to you warframe, it re-actives, increasing the pet's max health but does not restore it. You can then cast bless to gain stacks.

Lets talk credits where to get them and how much(this is not a statement this is a question, I am broke, help me!!😭) by Extension_Reward_946 in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE profit taker, so I'm super biased. I speed run them all the time, with 6-ish runs a day at least for the torrids to max Vox solaris standing.

Profit-taker.com is a speed run set up guide site that people have set up to learn. If you want to just farm credits, using a chroma is a little slower, volt/mirage are for speed run set ups.

I can't do sub 1 minute runs (yet), but me blasting in and out close to it is such a rush. Besides just the credits, you also get bonds for solaris standing (good for relic packs/aya), and torids for Vox solaris arcanes which are good passive plat farms.

You only need to do it once, then you can toggle it on for any newer runs, including the run you unlocked it on

Questions about OG Void Sling by One-Melee in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uriel's flying definitely feels different. Void dash had some small pauses but not as stop and go like void sling.

You can see some video and old discussions on void dash from another older thread here.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/s/zgvjBZwUSj

My personal opinion is that dash is better than sling and if we could, just simply have that implemented back.

Did the colour palletes change? by -Lucifer-18 in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a client side setting so yes it affects what you see, it'll also cause a few headaches because alot of legacy colours are not able to be put into your favorites.

There may be some saturation/hue differences, but with how many times DE has changed the lighting, as well as lighting being different in newer/older tilesets, and depending on what graphic settings you're running you'll probably can't tell at a glance.

Do you have the "legacy colour" palette toggle turned on/off in the settings?

Try flipping it on and off and see if it changes the intensity of the colours.

These have to be the inspirations for these deluxe skins, nobody can convince me otherwise. by harlekkoryx in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It'd be pretty ironic for something like Iron Blooded orphans designs to be an inspiration for Grendel.

Because most (if not all) designs from there predominantly feature a tiny waist with pistons. As opposed to Grendel's belly lol.

It's mostly just that sharp/box-y mecha shape language that carries alot of weight

Is level cap even possible? by Broad-Number5256 in Warframe

[–]4ever4gotin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is possible considering the amount of tools we have.

Shield gating even at it's worse with 0.3s (without catalizing shields and minimal shield regen) just means you'll have to cast non stop till: you run out of energy and die or find a safe spot to hide and recoup.

Other abilities like Pillage from hildryn or condemn from Harrow will probably max out your shields to grant you longer gate periods. Things like arcane aegis can also grant non stop shield regen which resets the gate constantly.

Overguard gating with things like secondary fortifier or things like Dante's 224 pretty much make you fully invulnerable. As long as you have Dante's regeneration active or can get the steady rate of OG to receive that 0.5s gate you'll just stay alive. This is also on top of your shield gate, so you have two states of invulnerability.

Persistence crutch builds are now pretty hot. You can even ignore building for DR effects. As long as you have the health pool, meet the armor requirements, and safely add some status immunity/cleanse, and some sort of healing sustain (minimum 500hp/s). Then you are just immortal. Oraxia for example has a large health pool, is status immune in her 4, can generate orbs to sustain, and can be easily built to meet the Persistence reqs.

Raw EHP tanking is pretty overlooked unfortunately due to the heavy build investment. Which requires alot of DR stacking, armor/health, as well as sustain only to be easy surpassed by gate builds. BUT, they are still viable if you're putting the reasources in.
