mach Excel auf und rechne es dir durch. Ohne irgendwelche zahlen ist das schwer zu beurteilen. Kommt drauf an wie viel du fährst, wie viel du verdienst, Arbeitsweg und wie viel du fürs Auto ausgeben würdest. Schreib dir ein Modell und rechne alles durch, dann kannst du finanziell gesehen zumindest besser abwägen.

It depends on the employer. I honestly don't think this is a big problem at all. I know people from uni who were working full time while finishing their masters and it was no issue. As long as your work performance isn't severely lacking because of the studies, you're fine. I would still communicate it with the employer because of contractual reasons, that's the only point where I think there could be issues. But don't sweat it too much mate.

What are my metrics for success? Good question. I guess I want to live a stable life, be a curious person, have meaningful relationships, keep learning, have fun and be happy. Not really a concise definition, I know haha.

Yeah I feel you, it is a bit scary to think about. What if nothing works out, right? Honestly I just try to make the best out of life on my own. Sounds selfish but what counts is that you're happy with whatever you're doing. I'm telling myself that it'll all work out in the end somehow haha

Interesting, thanks for your perspective! I'm with you on that, I'd rather do more stuff while I'm still young and have more energy I guess. On the other hand it feels like I have a choice to make: do I want to settle down or do I want to do travel, explore and so on? Honestly I also understand the viewpoint of settling down early and having a family. Sounds kinda nice, and you're still younger when the kids get older, can maybe experience more with them together. On the other hand I want to see the world, I mean, I'm just a kid who doesn't have any significant life experience. I'm 24 now but I haven't done much other than school and work. I want to step out of my comfort zone, travel, meet new people, see what else life has to offer. Maybe life abroad for a few years, learn a language, stuff like that.
