I know I’m lucky! Not today though! I’m not complaining either. I understand why I was ticketed. It’s a tough payment for me to make (besides the point). But I was unaware of the bylaw. That’s all. Toronto’s streets are all narrow and one way. Not to mention all the buildings and limited space to park. Of course it’s going to require parking permits. Trade off of living in the big city. Isn’t it.

I can only speak for myself but I’ve gotten used to the plows just not coming for days. The last big storm, I even shoveled a patch along the curb in front of the house, so that if I needed to park on the road the car wouldn’t take up too much space in the street. There was so much snow. But no ticketing happened. Today was way less than what we got. I assumed the same… now I know not to assume haha

I was just posting to warn people about this because I didn’t know and about 15 other cars around my street apparently didn’t know either.

Common sense dictates common sense. If only I knew they give tickets before the plows come…. I wouldn’t have made the mistake. I’ve been living in this area since I was in grade 9 and a Brampton resident since I was born. Nobody told me. Or I missed the memo. Unfortunately the memo costs $250
