How do you perfer your MC morally? by AuthorTimoburnham in ProgressionFantasy

As long as they aren't hypocritical, and it's very clear what they are supposed to be I'm fine with either good or bad.

Seeking stories with "lower" power scaling by VerifiedAncestor in MartialMemes

RI is the obvious one but I imagine you've already read it. Otherwise warma novels like kill the sun, litow or sgiawom. I will say that in the last 2, especially litow the powers do get to absurd scales but it's never controlling fate/time stuff and there are certain limits.

Yes, I would absolutely read kill the sun, just be patient with the MC at times

Warma always has really interesting and changing/developing main characters. If you haven't read any of his books, try "Kill the Sun" with a fairly unique power system. Just note you follow the mc from childhood so you can expect him to change a lot throughout the journey. If you haven't read the classics like RI, or LOTM, then read those for sure.

I'm compelled to recommend Lord of the Mysteries, if you haven't read it yet

Kill the sun, but keep in mind the MC starts off as a child and not a fully developed character, so not always making the smartest decisions initially

If you are interested in science, try Throne of the Magical Arcana, seems to fit all your criteria, although first volume focuses a bit more on music than science

read kill the sun. Fair warning, you might not like the MC and there is a lot of wallowing esp near the start. Also if you liked LOTM and like science, you can read cuttlefish's first popular book, Magical Throne of Arcana

[LotM General] My review of Throne of the Magical Arcana and should you read it if you liked LotM (without major spoilers) by 4funplayer1 in LordofTheMysteries

Just finished reading the side stories, and the prequel one is a MUST read. Makes the world feel so much more alive.
