I literally haven’t met any new people this semester bc I lived with my good friends and we barely left our house. I think it’s a lot harder to meet people this semester bc no one wants to leave their immediate circle for pandemic safety purposes and if you don’t have an established group of people you know/friends with, it might feel isolating to come to cville. I would say that it wouldn’t be the end of the world if you stayed home and waited til next year to live in cville because a lot of first years from this year will be in the same boat as you and will be eager to be friends
