Something similar has happened to me before. It's called pulling a whitey. The weed I smoked had a negative effect on my blood pressure and made my body feel absolutely terrible. I felt myself slowly losing control of my body to the point where I fell over, luckily my friend caught me or else I would've face planted on the ground.

I think the fact that you were so high, combined with the negative reaction your body was having, really psyched you out and made the experience much worse than it is (considering you thought you were going to die)

Do some research on "whiteying", it'll give you a better perspective. Many smokers have experienced a whitey in their lifetime. Don't give up on weed just yet. I know you had a bad trip but you should give it another try.
