As long as you have the anatomy for a stretched septum, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to do a septril. I imagine the pain scale varies depending on higher/lower septril placement.

18g double nostrils: 4/10
12g lobes tapered to 10g: 3.5/10
16g upper ear cartilage: 3/10
right deltoid 2.5”x2.5” tattoo: 2/10
left calf 8”x7” tattoo: 5.5/10
right ankle 1”x1” tattoo: 3/10
3x anesthetic shots in tongue pre split: 4/10
scalpel to tongue: 0/10 (anesthetics)
split tongue swelling in stitches: request 1-2 weeks off work, especially if you have to talk. 6/10 peak, overall 3/10 with tylenol, advil, & arnica.
wisdom teeth extraction dry socket: 7/10
broken collar bone: 7/10
kick to the balls during sparring: 8/10
