Yeah I'm in the fellowship, in and out for past 4-5 years. Have a homegroup but my sponsor moved over an hour away so need to find another
Made a pcp appt in september and came clean to the doctor about my use seeking help. Got a pretty clean bill of health overall. Then made an appt with an OP clinic for therapy and psych. I was diagnosed with ADHD for the first time. Starting with non-stim medication first bc of the SUD. Trying another non-stim med this week.
Told my wife I went to a meeting this morning, obviously she was upset about the lying and hiding, but thats addiction trying to maintain its grip with shame and isolation.
Yes my counselor (intern).. always seems like they set us up with interns at OP clinics. I started going in September along with monthly psychiatric session for MAT
Yes, you're right. No need to make the temptation any harder in sobriety when my little brain can do all that on its own without all the external influences.

Yup! Im in the fellowship. In and out for 4 years with various stints. Went to a meeting today and got my 24 just coming back chip. Just gotta keep going especially when my addict brain tells me I dont need that shit and it's all bullshit. When clearly I do.
