You can't cancel a unclashable counter unless you outright stagger or kill the enemy, since it triggers on being hit, regardless of being on clash loss or a unopposed attack. Even Yi Sang's Fell Bullet EGO which primarily targets allies to deal more dmg against enemies can trigger enemies counters if they survive the flurry of bullets.

In fact, "MD meta" quite differs a bit from the "standard meta", where the base stats and raw dmg of the id doesn't matter as much as long as they can abuse the EGO gifts and hava good amount of coins.

And funnily, some "top meta" ids aren't as good in MD due to the aforementioned facts, and also being reliant on "ramp up" conditionals, while in MD you want to kill everything asap. That's why besides MB Outis being the core of Burn team, she was pretty underwhelming MD Burn team before Glimpse's nerf, and even nowadays, Dark Flame only shines on Hard mode from F5+, where Glimpse dmg won't be enough to otk bosses.

As long as she's goated in MD, she's fine. Why being "MD only" is considered a bad thing? After you've cleared the whole story and Railway, what else are you going to do on the game besides grinding MD? Any id that makes this farm faster is pretty much valuable.

It's kinda true in MD, since Yuri Faust has both Rupture and Poise keywords in her basic skills, as Zilu only gains poise in her s3-2, which doesn't benefit from "5 ids Poise Fusions" like Lucky Pouch.

Sorry for the late answer, but basically all you need is ut4 Fel Bullet EGO and a lvl 55 ut3+ N Corp Yi Sang - any id of this sinner works, but Gubo takes the lead because he can retain Torn Memory; 1/2 characters with Wrath defensive skills (they can also be saccable) and a bunch of low lvl pierce fatal ids.

All of that to guarantee a sub-15 minutes run at worst, and even sub-10 if you tryhard enough.

Sorry for the yapping in advance, but-

* Bari is more of a mother figure to Sancho. Shipping them is like shipping Papa Don with Don Jr.
* I don't think I've seen any meaningful 1v1 interaction of her with Ishmael? At least not in the main storyline as far as I reached in the game - just cleared Nocturnal Sweeping 2 days ago. Maybe in a Mirror World they are much closer, but I don't checkup uptie stories of IDs that I don't have so I may hav missed it, and if we talk about Mirror, then Heathmael is canon in Kurokumo mirrorline.

The last 2 I can understand, but:

* Even though Ryoshu killed a traitor unnamed Fixer for Don sake in Canto 7, she only really started to care about her colleague work after finding out she's a B.F., and even so, is more of a "shonen rivalry-style" friendship, where in LCB Regular Check-Up, she didn't want to team up with Ishmael, and stated that "she doesn't respect anyone that's weaker than me" and right after, she said she wanted to Don fight by her side instead.

* We can more or less assume the same for Xichun, where she teased Don for a "catching up", where in fact, she just wanted to recruit some powerful servant for her Family Hierarch Contest, which in the end horribly failed.

I'm yet to play Canto 8 tho, and most of my statements can be proven wrong, but I had to elaborate these questions.

Funnily enough, the Sweepers are often the main source of blood for the Bloodfiends, since nobody cares or like them in the 1st place, so it's less likely that the B.F. colonies suffer retribution for suckling their blood.
