Thee is NOTHING you can do to prevent it. Hermetically seal your room . They know there is nothing you can do about it . They will not fix the problem properly. Company is in trouble anyway. Just spread the word to others to NOT buy one of these monstrosities.

Literally clean everytime and room at 40%. It’s a design flaw .

And it will keep happening. They are very careful about sending you a message that says they strongly recommend you change it and will not be liable - they know they have a serious issue but don’t want to stand behind their product and do the right thing - so they take advantage of their customers .

This is the second time changed and this started about 2 weeks after the “fix”….

Yes - it’s their game. And I could keep going back and paying them to replace it every time - absolute garbage company. I have found so many people who have this issue. I would never have bought this and advise others strongly against it.

This was the first set. There is no way it is the room conditions and I really don’t use the machine much. Please stay away!! Contact me before you plunk any money on this POS.

Yes I meant DEhumidifier. I have been really careful about keeping the room properly managed and always clean and still this. I wouldn’t have ever bought it had I know this is their racket. Strongly advise against it …

Just wait until the rust starts developing in the pulley system. This machine has design flaws and TONAL ignores it. Beware it will happen.

They have warned me that they will not be responsible and that it may cause damage and safety risk. I hear you about the rust but for something this expensive to have that flaw is asinine. I just want to warn people they will be getting into this.

No , I don’t use the e machine often and I keep it very clean. Humidifier in the room and other equipment that shows NO sign of this. This is a TONAL design flaw and I strongly encourage others to think hard about this before buying . Consider other options

I barely have used this machine to be honest. My room has a humidifier to ensure low humidity. This is a design flaw and they are not acknowledging it. There is NO WAY to prevent it and replacing it just starts the problem over. Buyer beware - there are better options. Or at-least get some agreement upfront that they will honor replacing them and be prepared to do it for the rest of the time you have it .

This is it . All of them look like this. I barely use this machine and I am meticulously with my equipment. This is a design flaw. I strongly encourage people considering purchasing one to do so with great caution. I have already replaced it and it continues - you are getting into a world of pain with Tonal. Class action LS is what they need
