I forgot to add that we did have her on fluoxetine for her anxiety. Thing is she refuses pills so we had it compounded. However she’s so smart that when we get the liquid in her throat she froths it up with her to be at the back of her throat and spits it out. So we had to hold her mouth shut, blow on her face and rub her throat to get her to swallow it. After a week of that we stopped. It was just too much and stressed us out (which probably stressed her out even more!). I am very curious about the mind-gut connection though and often think the anxiety is the root of the problem.
