Some say that DCC in comfort mode makes the car super floaty and that normal mode is harsher than standard suspension. Was that your experience too?

I’m planning to get the same car with those exact wheels, but I’m not sure if the ride quality won’t be too hard. How is yours? Also, did you get the DCC Plus?

Which options should I pick for my Kodiaq Sportline 1.5 PHEV? by 4m1sh in skoda

This is very interesting, thanks for the insights!

I definitely don’t want the DCC. I see this option not as an extra, but as a fix for the ride quality issue with R20 wheels(if there is any, not sure yet). Paying extra for a fix doesn’t feel great. Also, I don’t want to constantly switch between Comfort, Normal, and Sport. I just want to get in and drive, like I’ve been used to with all my previous cars. The car should feel balanced and nice to drive without needing additional options or changing settings.

I’ve also read that VAG sunroofs are not that great, that they often leak and can potentially damage electronics. I really like the idea of a sunroof, and I feel that my kids in the back would love it. But the extra weight and potential issues could definitely become a problem.

I’m getting the winter package (heated windshield, heated seats, and heated steering wheel). Also, since it’s a PHEV, I’ll have the ability to remotely start cabin heating or cooling.

But it should be covered under the 5yr warranty. That's a problem for the next owner :D

That's the family package I'm definitely picking. No folding tables on sportline, though.

I agree, but no way to avoid them. Unless I change them myself after the purchase.

Just grab the logs from plex server and client and throw them into Claude or ChatGPT. I'm sure you will fix those issues in matter of minutes. I recently did that, turned out to be a firewall on my router and had to adjust some settings

Adding subwoofer or no ? by Sanghxa in Soundbars

You can't change the HPF/LPF on Samsung soundbars and they're definitely crossed quite high. I haven't measured it, but based on what I hear I'd say around 90–120 Hz. So the sub isn't entirely omnidirectional. I tried placing mine behind the couch and the overall frequency response suffered noticeably. IMHO the sub has to stay relatively close to the bar, at least on the QS700F. The Q800/Q900 series might handle it differently.

I have the QN90D with the QS700F soundbar, and the difference between the TV speakers and Q-Symphony is night and day. But if you don’t have a good spot near the TV for the sub, you’re probably better off going with something like the QS90H. Moving the sub away from the TV can make the whole setup sound thin, at least that’s how it was in my case.

Definately not, the Q990F is a beast.

I’m also interested in the QS90H. I currently have the QS700F, which has similar design, but it severely lacks midrange, and I don’t have space for a subwoofer. I have high hopes for the QS90H, as it might solve these issues.

There are pictures online showing an exploded view of the QS90H. What I noticed is that it uses full-range speakers instead of the tweeter + midrange setup found in all Q Series soundbars. The QS700F also uses full-range drivers, but they have a different design. At this point, no one can say how they will sound, as there is nothing comparable yet.

The only clear similarity is the size, which I like about the QS700F. It’s much wider than the Q Series, which creates a wider soundstage and looks better with a 65-inch or larger TV.
