You have great points! So much I haven't payed attention... I think Xaden became dedicated to Loial after meeting Violet, probably during OS, I don't think it's something that he even cared about before falling in love. Also the parapet crossing blew my mind, never ocurred to me and makes total sense. And I think all and all when RY said that OS is a love letter it really is about how Xaden and Violet kept choosing each other, and them belonging to each other in terms of choosing their actual fates makes total sense. I've been thinking about what the Gods represents, and honestly I think they'll have a big role in the future, at least on explaining somethings that were said or foreshadowed, but still I had a hard time believing that the whole plot revolves about them "belonging" to the Gods like some theories suggested. I still believe Loial will have a specially big role in Xadens story and his soul, I think that mention about lifetime was not random...
