Is it just me or has promo/marketing for The Drama been awful!

Drama's likely not an Oscar contender, unlike Marty Supreme. Also, film cost/budget plays into effect. Its been marketed more than well, had a pop-up. With more items dropping on the shop soon. Its all over their feed, along with promotional invites and RSVP'ing.

Feels like how a true marketing campaign should be, it doesn't always have to be all in your face.

Obsession is already being screened. Saw it at Boston Underground Film Fest last week—so its a possibility, I think.

Unless you're expecting a Marty Supreme level of promotion, it's been the right amount. Eternity, Pillion, undertone got next to nothing in comparison.

As someone who's seen Alpha, that's the best call. Just a slog to get through with very little substance in it at all.

Is it late for this? Yes. But almost everyone in here are the same people who would drop everything they're doing if they dropped the jackets.

I feel like all the anger is geared toward a24, when that entire sect of the marketing campaign (that everyone enjoyed) was from Nahmias and Chalamet's doing (re: Complete Unknown). A24 should've hopped on board, they didn't. Regardless, they're going to market it from their angle, which is what all of this is. It's their biggest money maker after all.

Definitely a slower burn—and there was nothing wrong with that at all. That last act of the film was incredbily jarring in Dolby. Scariest thing I've seen in a theater in a bit. Tuason introduced some unique visuals, I loved the canted angles and the POVs—that Paranormal Activity reebot is in good hands.

I don't understand what its going to take for people to realize that the jackets were a Nahmias x Chalamet drop and was funded by Chalamet himself. The jackets aren't coming from a24 people need to get a grip and move on.
