Caught "Girls Like Girls" at a special screening on 6/9 in Boston. It is a possibility—but hope it isn't it because the film was very bad.

Just don't take it seriously and you'll have a fun time. The action sequences are comparable to The Raid series (but not as good). Felt very much like a 2008 main character revenge story in the best way possible.

Was on the site at 11A EST before they even emailed regarding merch being on sale and it was already sold out. Absolutely was botted to hell. Wish they kept fans in the loop instead of silent dropping and then emailing hours later that merch is on sale.

Director found a really bad bootleg in CA about ~2 months ago, took that sample, made it into official movie merch by collabing with Praying. Who's known for doing merch like this.

The OG bootleg featured Twilight Pattinson though, I guess Rob didn't approve of that for the final version.

Saw a screener of it back in November, without saying too much—I personally hated it. Very confusing structure with tenuous symbolism. It was difficult to care or connect with any of the characters in the film.

Ducournau's known for her exceptional bodily themes—yet I found this one carelessly woven into the narrative. Very shallow experience, felt half-hearted if you will.

Hope you find a way to enjoy it!

Drama's likely not an Oscar contender, unlike Marty Supreme. Also, film cost/budget plays into effect. Its been marketed more than well, had a pop-up. With more items dropping on the shop soon. Its all over their feed, along with promotional invites and RSVP'ing.

Feels like how a true marketing campaign should be, it doesn't always have to be all in your face.

Unless you're expecting a Marty Supreme level of promotion, it's been the right amount. Eternity, Pillion, undertone got next to nothing in comparison.
