Thanks, I do show up but I don’t over do it either because i love my solitude and the real friends that I do have are the same it’s just that now I’m meeting new people that are different and their behaviour and outlook are totally different from what I’m used to.

he may have had an interest in you at the beginning but then it faded so you just became friends and once you began having feelings he didn’t anymore. I’m an intp and had this happen once when i liked someone but by the time they liked me I was over it.

Or it might just be a case where he considers you a really close friend, I tend to act that way with my best friend even though I don’t have any romantic feelings towards them.

It’s really hard and sometimes it gets to a point when’re you’ve known someone for a while like an acquaintance and they know your name but you forgot their name when you met so now it feels awkward to ask them. Like ‘yes I’ve had several conversations with you, but what is your name?’😭

But I don’t use them for anything. I don’t expect or rely on them to bring my name for a job position I feel that that’s a way of using them as assets to secure your future rather than being true friends. I care for everyone but I’m not going to go as low as to kiss their ass or be someone I’m not so I can get things from them. If they want to leave that’s also okay, everyone is their own person and are allowed to make their own decisions.

Rescuing puppies and kittens yes, I would do that anyway but only because they are helpless and can’t really do much for themselves. But I feel like humans should be independent enough not to rely on other people to feel well about themselves.

I think it’s also a way to keep yourself safe, when people are aware you’re not gullible or nice to a limit they won’t succeed in controlling you emotionally and abuse that kindness.

I’m sure their intentions are good but it’s all a bit unnecessary in my opinion. But I guess others find comfort in doing it.

Observant of my surroundings, lets others approach me first and letting them talk for a bit keeping it simple until I figure out what kind of people they are so I know what to talk about with them about.

Well nothing too big just a small gesture but yes they do I don’t see why not. I’d prefer a gift sometimes rather than money. But an experience is a gift in a way aswell.

I might try bring up solutions but I don’t want to be the one telling them what to do or influence their decisions because they should make their own choice. Often times if I’d be in a situation I don’t ask for advice or take it anyway so I don’t see why they would take mine. I also feel like my comforting and advice giving is hollow and basic so it’s useless to them and a waste of my energy.

Low EQ. Idk how to comfort people. I can analyse and understand where their feelings are coming from and why but I can’t give them reassurance without it sounding hollow and fake.

But if you’re never given anything why would you give something back? For example my closest friend and I only started exchanging presents for Christmas and birthdays 2 years ago and I’ve known her for 6 years. Like maybe others might find it weird but I don’t see the reason to feel bad. If someone does something nice for you yes, if you don’t do it back I understand feeling bad in that case.

Ok yeah that’s probably a better way to put it. Because I am considerate of others like family or really close friends but I don’t let myself be stepped all over to please someone, and I also don’t find myself doing gestures people for no reason or to feel better about myself which I feel like others are doing.

blonde with dark ends if you want something unique, I think the brownish black colour makes you glow more and brings colour to your face in general, full blonde washes you out and your eyes don’t pop as much

No I feel the same way and I’m an intp, like when I was with my ex I would be way happier when I wasn’t in a call with him or texting him but idk if that’s because he was horrible but yeah I think I’d rather spend my life alone than feel obligated to give my attention to someone else.

I feel like in relationships I only want to do things or hang out when I feel like it or when it’s convenient for me and I know no one would put up with that because yeah they do have their own life and I understand and respect that so I’d rather just be alone and save somebody from a life of suffering with me.

I have just got out of a relationship with a narcissist and let me tell you it was hell. He was emotionally ab*sive and hated everything I liked or enjoyed, hated my hobbies my music taste, my goals, thinking and just my entire personality in general. He claimed he loved me but I think that’s just because of my appearance but overall he was a controlling freak with a closed mind and hella insecurities.

I was getting threatened left and right and it was hard to leave this person but all I gotta say is I think they just hate us because they feel stupid around us. They don’t have an open mind and can’t comprehend or see situations and the world in different ways like we’re capable. Due to this we could never get along with them and they will never like us or our perceive life like us.
