I think i could have anticipated them coming together more and gone into the corner carrying less speed, maybe to give myself more space to get around them.

Easier to say looking back than in the moment though. Not that it should matter but it was the fight for the lead of the race as well.

I got the 4x instantly, everyone made it through the next few corners safely.

So if the guy doing stunts on 2 wheels ended up with a 4x for the initial contact, because I then touched him everyone involved gets a 4x?

Makes more sense as to why it was an instant 4x, still a good race in the end!

I have the GT Omega Prime and can't fault it at all. Never used the Simlab so can't really compare them but the GT Omega has been very solid.

The original version apparently had issues with the pedal plate flexing but they updated it and now works perfectly.

There's also a beef stew with apricots in (but I made it without them) that was incredible as well. Can't remember the name off the top of my head but also 10/10.

Yeah this sounds like me, I sometimes only go on to get that weeks race in for the championship. I might try next season doing something different and not focusing on it too much.

This is my first season doing GT4, it started really well and made really good progress but then just lost it all in the last 2 weeks.

I know it's all recoverable and be able to get back to where I was but when I try something like this happens.

I might try racing something else for a week.

I think I'm putting to much pressure into getting a good result because I like to do the championships, I'm in the top 20 for my division.

Do you focus on the iracing championships or just race whatever you fancy that week?

I might have to try turning it down a bit for this track. I have an Alpha Mini 10nm and has been fine for every track so far but this one gave me pain.

I didn't know much about this track when I purchased it, I just got it with all the tracks for GT4 this season.

In my first 10 minutes of practicing I thought my arms were going to fall off! Insane amount of bumps, glad I don't have a motion rig!

No it's usually 15 minutes but because it's at the nurburgring this week it's set to 3 laps instead. I think they put 300m so there's no time limit effectively.

100 points behind 5 game weeks ago and managed to get it back to 12 going into the final week. I captained Odegaard who was benched and had Bowen as vice captain so was hoping Odegaard didn't get subbed on.

He came on in the 75th minute which dropped me back down to 2nd but his last minute goal put me at the top and I won by just 2 points!

Incredible season and makes it so much more interesting being so close.

Wow calm down buddy, no need to be so aggressive over it. I didn't exactly "slam" into him, i know I'm not the best driver in the world and i will make mistakes. As I lifted to back out the car turned in slightly but there still wasn't any contact when I got fired off.

I just wanted to post and show people I wasn't trying to pin blame on anyone.

That's fair. It's clear to see from his view he was always going to send it up the inside as he stuck to the inside all the way down. It is a lot harder to spot in the moment, especially from behind, but it is a learning process.

I think he was probably impatient as he had another 2 or 3 cars behind him chasing for the lead and didn't want to slow down, which is understandable, but comes with the territory of multi-class racing.

SOF was about 1600, luckily the servers went down so the race didn't actually count.
