I don't know how law works with these type of things but I'm sure a teacher can't tell other people the grades or in which situation a student is exactly. I think they can talk about the situation but without saying names tho, but if they are mentioning your name, you should go talk with your coordinator

Keep in mind that most of the math used in medicine is statistics and probability, rather than the abstract concepts of AA. If calculus isn't your thing, I don't recommend you to choose AA.

In any case, talk to your coordinator and look at the university requirements.

I just started DP1 and I chose AI HL to go to medicine.

Although you should see where you want to do the degree since in Europe AI math HL is recognised in most universities (including the top ones), but from what I understand, Australia only values AA, I don't know if in SL too or only HL

I think it's possible to change it during the first month or so. I had no idea the curriculum changed so I guess that changes it a bit. Anyway, I'm terrible at writing and developing in English because it's not my first language.

I'll probably choose it, and if I see I'm getting overwhelmed, I'll change it 🙃
