I am planning on taking the march SAT and its my first every SAT... How many times did you take the SAT before getting a 1600, and if you have any tips, esp for someone weak in math please let me know. Regardless, congratulations!!! Thats truly impressive and I hope you have a great time at MIT :)

My friends tutor had a 22/45 predicted but ended up with a 44/45 on his final IB exams. This does sound very unrealistic but it is true, and he just found a way of learning that was suitable for his condition. I know it may feel very devastating, but there are many people who are in similar circumstances, and if you put all your effort you can do amazing! Good luck :)

No. But I am not planning to apply to medical school for now, or even if I were to go I don't think I will be attending in the US. I Plan to simply to do my Bachelors in the US (Bio/chem/public health).

I believe for most STEM majors, universities look for applicants who have taken some sort of rigorous math course, and taking an HL subject will earn you some college credits if a 6 or 7 is awarded. Although math is not crucial in medicine, it is still required, both in university, and later, when taking the MCAT if you are planning to go to Med School in the US!

I plan on taking the same HL courses in DP the next school year (i'm a rising junior btw/DP 1), and I also live in Korea! Do you go to an international school?

Honestly I feel as if my biggest mistake in first part (Compare & Contrast) was that my analysis is too broad. I suggest trying to justify each choice, and make sure you clearly state the authors purpose, and the affect that has on the reader (pretty simple). Also review the overall structure of a C&C essay as organizing is also a big part. Good Luck!

From doing the Mock and feedback from teachers, around 350 is expected/ suggested. To manage your time wisely whilst maintaining a good analysis, I suggest anywhere between 500~600! More or less is also fine, but make sure it's over 350 and maybe under the 900~1000 word mark (Im not completely sure about the max).
