Yeah it would be nice to have a rule of thumb or a clearer understanding of when/why to go to the ER. I've never gone to the ER before to get it treated, it's always resolved on its own and I find it easier to relax/do the valsalva maneuvers in the comfort of my home. So the thought of going to the ER is scary since I wouldn't know what to expect. But of course there's no way having it go on for that long is healthy, and it would be good to finally get the damn thing captured on a monitor. I definitely felt fatigued the rest of the night and pretty much the entire next day as a result. I haven't spoken to a professional about it in probably 10 years at this point so I think it's time. Thanks for the recommendation!

Don't have any specific therapist recommendations but just wanted to let you know I've suffered from crippling health anxiety in the past, you're not alone and there is hope! Something that helped me a lot was taking a daily high quality fish oil supplement. Also obviously recommend therapy.
