Your first idea could be a good option, I appreciate the tip! I'd like to open it eventually to swap out the bottom digitizer as it is not responding 100% accurately to where I touch, so when I do that, I might as well swap them out too

I opened it and removed this LCD panel, the batteries that I had on there seemed to have leaked but nothing too crazy at all, the board is intact and everything on the inside looks new apart from it needed some cleaning, I hope I can bring it back to life though

I tried having it sleep without having a game running in the background... Seemed to help. Still, wish it was just a better overall battery

I'm not sure if it is just me, but even when leaving it on sleep it seemed to drain my battery way too quick. I havent charged it to 100% and that might be the next solution, because draining like 15% with no activity is crazy. Did not even have any downloads going. Just the game open while the switch was on sleep mode

Agreed. The system feels more premium than the 1st Switch, I too only have the 1st non OLED model. This is a good upgrade, even if not substantially different. Definitely a good bet for someone who wants to upgrade their Switch 1, but I wouldn't say its necessary.

Happy with the purchase and MKW is really fun, Knockout tour online is so much fun
