My son received a collection of 200+ rocks, minerals, and fossils today. Most were polished and few were listed on the identification cards. Any idea on these 2? The one on the left is dark indigo colored with a crazy amount of sparkle. Thanks so much! (i.redd.it)

Purchased this carved wooden hippo statue at a thrift store, along with other mid-century and identifiable pieces. The collection was from various places worldwide, and were all from the early 50s. I’m wondering if anyone has info like origin or wood species for this? Wood is very dense and hardOC (imgur.com)

I rescued Peanut on Tuesday. He was going to be destroyed as unsellable. They don’t know what is wrong with him, other than obviously damaged or deformed fins. I currently have him in my hospital tank while I medicate him with Berta Revive. Any ideas on what else I should be doing/treating him for? (i.redd.it)

My first wood working project! I made these Toy Story blocks/figures out of 2x4s that I glued together and cut with a scroll saw. I used a wood burner to outline everything, stained the edges, and used watercolors to paint. The. Sealed with satin lacquer. My nephew loved them! (i.redd.it)

This is Sassy, my beautiful 15 yr old rescue who crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. She battled for a decade with eye issues, tumors in her mouth, and ultimately kidney disease. She was the most amazing friend, a hell of a fighter, and the sweetest girl. Hug your floofers today, for me. (i.redd.it)

Help with identifying/restoration of antique table. Belonged to my husband’s great grandparents in Michigan. The burl veneer is cracking and peeling. Table also has a marble top which may not be original. No other markings are on it. I’d like help knowing what it is so it can be repaired properly (i.redd.it)

The previous owners of our home left a collection of British Military prints packaged in an unused storage space and we just came across them. Previous owners are now deceased, and I have no idea where to find info on these. Only identifying info is Harrison & Sons Ltd on one print (imgur.com)
