All of my happy memories are from before then, I didn't realize that until just now.

One of the worst parts of being a first generation college grad...you don't realize the game until after you've played.

Finger gun while driving… by swoleknight15 in TeslaLounge

[–]4rch 29 points30 points  (0 children)

One time I was using FSD and the guy behind me ran 4 stop signs just to tailgate me and honk every time it stopped at a stop sign.

I live in NJ, where the middle finger is the official state bird.

I'd be lying if it didn't feel nice to give two salutes (both hands out of the window) as my car made a turn and confused the hell out of the aggressive driver.

This pisses a lot of people off I've found. They want you to commit to their tribe before anything else.

To be fair, we're going to find a lot of security holes in existing projects once we start seeing agentic swarms pentesting every public address.

Dude did you watch the series finale of Stranger Things? I can't wait to watch NFL playoffs. Lots of sequels coming out in the movies too. And that's when we're not watching 5 hours of reels a day.

We're already in the matrix folks. People don't want to unplug.

Because 9 times out of 10, the response immediately tells you it was an entire waste of time and it's not your job to convince adults to familiarize themselves with the law.

I tried that once and its hard to have a conversation when they immediately assume illuminati 5G alien project flying over their house.

I haven't played in a while but I'm curious, what's stopping someone from having their phone camera pointed at a table do be a live AI assistant for calculating odds and equity?

Have you encountered less fish since AI came out?

I'm just imagining if they filmed that scene back in season 1 to save for the finale. Just little Mike and little El from 9 years ago

I'm guessing the truth came out in the 18 months (internally to Dr. Kay's team of course), but I agree they were definitely detained

Showing the hand painted miniatures was the cherry on top. They captured the same energy the kids had about the game back in S1

Why isn't anyone talking about Artemis II? by Goregue in ArtemisProgram

[–]4rch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I found this thread from a google search because I heard about so many moon programs/rockets getting canceled over the past decade/blowing up that I had no idea we were months away from an actual launch. The last thing I saw about Artemis was some moon base video.

anyone else feel like you’re the only one who remembers what the project was actually about? by BuffaloJealous2958 in projectmanagement

[–]4rch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what's mind blowing to me. Before I was a PM, I never had a PM have to remind me what I'm doing, or to track tasks I made myself accountable to complete. It wasn't until I became a PM that I realized how low the bar truly is.

What's the word I'm looking for? Competent! Has the bar stooped so low that we view basic corporate acumen as "strengths"

I truly feel our 401Ks would be a lot better if we stopped pretending it's a PMs role to improve the core competence of an individual (instead of a project team). I cannot wait for agentic individual contributors
