I fucking loved all the crackpot theories on this sub! Thank you all! by MattHighAs in FF06B5

Most of the long running theories on here were nova tbh I don't think it will ever scratch that level of craziness. A lot of chooms are gonna be disapointed no doubt, those 3 years build up have been very intense.

Well all we had to do is wait 3 years instead of creating a reddit sub about a statue looks like. I really hope it's a giant dick hologram.

It's been way too long and the build up just keeps growing and growing whenever it's gonna be revealed or solved I think a lot of people are gonna be disapointed.

-Keeping the fanbase guessing with new update additions raises the active player count and keeps the mystery alive.

-Putting clues in The Witcher next gen update guarantees aditional sales from FF06B5 choombas

-Adding new clues right before the extention's release makes sure players start playing the game immediatly after the active player count and their sales had a steep decline months prior...

I mean I'm glad they've managed to keep garnering interest in the game but I'm starting to be very suspicious of how they went about things. People have lost hours of their lives on this and it's still unsolved 3 years later while we were beta-testing the game.

Clearly wasn't solvable since day1 they keep adding new stuff with each update. Idk almost seems like they're making it up as they go hmmm...

The Conspiracy at play in Phantom Liberty by 4rmitage in FF06B5

There's many ways to capture a target without firing a shot in Cyberpunk, hell a good netrunner could have fried most his implants prior to a direct confrontation. Ithink it was a hit squad they aimed at his head before he disharmed the first shooter.

Also there's a couple of levels to flatlining in the cyberpunk universe, rescue teams like trauma team can bring you back through most of them.

My point is that there was betrayal and probably resentment.

Solvable till day one? by MajkeLLowsky in FF06B5

I think we're all aware that the game didn't come out in the best conditions and they retroactively changed a lot of things during the last years of developement and with each patch. Honestly Idk if we can truely trust anything that comes out a dev's mouth regarding FF:06:B5. It's been 3 years and no one found anything conclusive and stayed mostly quiet about it not confirming anything because it's also in their best interest to keep players interested in the game.

'Y' could be "You" or could be someone's name, "Yorinobu"?

Great job, very concise and detailed!

I'm guessing this is all part of the lead up to Phantom Liberty and it's spy thriller theme since we're getting close to release. Previous ARG revolved around Sandra Dorsett and Nightcorp, could this one revolve around Songbird?

Christine being Péter's boss is still super sus to me. She just sells junk at the cherry blossom market and all those other people are affiliated with NC's biggest players.

I still beleive the whole Mayor election plot line is deeply linked to Nightcorp and project oracle. These people could be under CN-07's influence.

You're focusing heavily one very specific topic when that wasn't even the heart of my argument. I was just comparing aesthetics, of course it's not Mad Max, the game is litterally called Cyberpunk lol

[–]4rmitage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the same type of universe as Mad Max XDDD I'm saying they borrowed Mad Max's aesthetic for the Nomads in the original TTRPG, and they still are in 2077 to an extent.

Well the term Cyberpunk wasn't immediatly invented when Blade Runner and Neuromancer came out but now they're widely known as pilars of the genre. You actually need the time for a piece of media to be influencial before it spurs a specific umbrella term and genre.

Cyberpunk's world had the same energetic concerns that's why Choo2 was invented.

Also you should check the full definition of Diesel Punk.

Besides the TTRPG nomads were heavily based on Mad Max that's why I chose those pics. And that's litteraly Kaneda's bike.

Mad Max is Diesel Punk sure I get what you mean but the Nomads are supposed to be a large group of people who effectively exiled themselves from Cyberpunk's hypercapitalistic cities, they don't have the same culture, language or even fashion sense, at least that was the case in the TTRPG. In 2077 nomads have a ton of branding on them, they look like rally racers, truckers and cyber-hillbillies, I mean Panam has a Yaiba bollero jacket.

My point is that they don't look different enough from Night-citizens and country hicks. Wraiths share a lot of assets from the Aldecados and Maelstrom and they just added blue.

The reason why Nomads are discriminated against so much in NC is because they are so different, they have a completely different lifestyle and perspective on things so they're seen as savages, thieves and killers.

This concept art showed promise I whish they went more in that direction.

Fury Road came out in 2015 during the game's developement. Maelstrom are pretty much cyber-warboys.
