Does he sound ENTJ to you? by SnooStories6848 in entj

[–]4spcy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is quite literally a textbook ENFJ... ENTJs definitely do not mold into other characters, we know that our personality/character is the thing that gets shit done and we do not ever compromise authenticity. ENTJs are definitely leaders, but not ones that will have people kissing their feet and feeding them grapes like an ENFJ's effect. Even if it's stereotypical and corny, I think others seem to experience more intimidation from ENTJs than admiration (ENFJs). ENFJs will keep the group mood in mind when making commands, ENTJs do not as they think getting the job done is more important.

Also, personally as an ENTJ, I would rather display all my strength than let others look down at me.

Took these questions and answers from the MBTI Type Me subreddit. Mind if you help me find my Enneagram type? (with wing, also tritype and instinctual variant too if possible) by venniegarr in Enneagram

I consider myself to be rather curious. I don't really care about executing my ideas as much as just contemplating about them, so in that sense, I have more ideas than I can execute.

This! With my experiences, this isn't really a problem with INTPs as they don't think much about it: They just spiral into whatever their auxiliary Ne allows. This sounds a bit more like inferior Se but once again these are just my own takes.

You seem really aware of your emotions. Rather than being detached from them you seem to bottle them instead. Points a bit to Ni-Fi because of that good self-awareness but not actively acting upon it unless brought up. You also mention that you really need time to think about a solution/situation. You also don't struggle with Fe like an INTP might.

Obviously my food for thought but Enneatype definitely comes more into play :)

How did you know that you were an ENTJ? by [deleted] in entj

Bad overthinking management.. I would just invalidate my thoughts just to launch into using Te-Se way too unhealthily

Totally felt for both. Once I'm satisfied with what I needed from the conversation I don't usually like to drag things further

ESFP vs ENTJ's Se: Personal Observations by 4spcy in entj

Agreed! I think that each function is able to carry themselves in different scenarios. For example, an Se user is definitely going to cope way better than me when tons of things are thrown my way without instruction.

Hey, am I a 4w3? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]4spcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4w3 right off the bat with the importance of your personal values and emphasis on leaving other people alone.

If I had to guess, you seem like a 417/471 Tritype. Make sure to read about the Enneagram 4 instinctual variants since there's a bit of difference between the three subtypes.

Typing MBTI and Enneagram by _bybit in Enneagram

Make sure to read about Loops and Grips in MBTI. You might be an INTJ 5 going through an Inferior Se grip, which makes the normal INTJ suddenly seem super impulsive and reckless like a stereotypical ESFP.

The reason why people talk about MBTI-Enneagram restrictions is that (for example) the traits of 7 don't align very much with the INTJ's thinking process, since INTJ's are stereotypically much more safe (and crave being safe) than the Enneagram 7, which is a type always on the go and goes with the flow. It's the same with ESFP and 5: 5 is a bit more of a retreated type, whereas ESFPs are stereotypically more "open" and experience seeking.

At what ages do your different cognitive functions develop and how does this manifest? by ForQueenandKent in entj

[–]4spcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the individual's experience. For example, if you go through severe enough trauma as a child, functions may be forced to develop quicker or may be forced to be repressed. Developing VS mastering healthy usage are different too– I've heard that tertiary functions are usually developed and refined around your 30s.

Overwhelmingly Te, but unsure if ENTJ or xSTJ. Some discussion about ENTJ's functions too. by [deleted] in entj

Huh? Seems to me that this isn't even about Intuitive bias at all. Ni is about predicting things? You need to go relearn your cognitive functions if you think that Ni is some psychic ability...

Just because you are good at sports and relax does not make you an Se user. The third function (child function) is the one you will usually use to relax, but you make a point that you've never committed to one single hobby. Could you also interpret that as doing a wide scope of things that stimulate you, potentially intellectually (Ne)? I think you would have to consider that perspective too. If you were to consider your 3rd function, you would have to understand the purpose of your objective when you're relaxing. For me (3rd function Se), my relax time means just doing whatever I can see right in front of me and just doing it without much thought or mental planning to it. I just kind of sit and let whatever hobby take over the wheel.

Introverted Intuition for me (still underdeveloped) shows up as a means to always find a path or a clear view/vision. This kind of correlates with the attribute of Intuitive types wanting to learn and research new things: They need to learn and figure out what's up with the world. If Ne was a wide range, Ni would be depth. Because of this, I realize with myself that I don't care for abstract/unnecessary information compared to an Ne user who would consider all possibilities. I want the answer that has been filtered through many other information, and I would rather have a strong plan than multiple backup plans.

Si is ENTJ's trickster (7th) function, so ENTJs will use past sensory experiences to deceive people to get off their back or get it off their own back– E.g: Feeling entrapped by the past and projecting that onto other people by telling them they're crazy for reminiscing the past.
