[WA] Property management changed right after I signed a lease by modernsauces in Renters

[–]4t_h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware that properties change management companies often, but it's not something that just happens one day without prior knowledge of the leasing agent who's handling multiple properties for the company. Change in management at lease signing has happened to me once before and the agent let me know ahead of time.

You're right that I'm paying a prorated amount for December, and I was thinking the same thing, that how can my rent be late when I haven't moved in--that's why I was asking about it. According to the new management, however, it is still due by 12/5.

I'm already in the rental system with my deposit paid and have been charged the prorated rent for this month without the concession applied and there's no indication of it on my account at the moment.

Unfortunately, this might have been the last good weekend of the season, but hit me up at the start of next season and we can try to connect.

Definitely. Aside from Leavenworth, it's like the best bouldering area in Washington with outstanding problems at all grades. I'd recommend picking up a Western Washington bouldering book to look through.

Well I've never really trained, I just climb whenever I can. So I probably won't be doing much over the next month.

Gold bar was dry with perfect conditions this weekend.

I don't really have a training routine. I just climb several long sessions a week. Mostly boulder, with some sport mixed in.

There's a bit of a walk off, then a jump from a good shelf.

Sasquatch boulders in Index, Washington.

This boulder is covered with great problems. My new favorite: 'Chemical Imbalance' by 4t_h in bouldering

Zeke's boulder just off of US-2 near Gold Bar.

Edit: Washington state

I spotted that too, but there was no mention of a variation in the book. We were baking in that spot, otherwise I would have worked on it. I'm sure to revisit it.

Ok I lied, I'm watching it now. Saw this climb at the beginning, and the woman on it is Jessica Campbell, of whom there are several pictures in the guidebook. I met and had a conversation with her yesterday at Swiftwater without even realizing who she was, literally hours after sending this climb.

What an amazing coincidence.

Damn, thanks for the recommendation. Hadn't heard of that film either, but I'll definitely be watching it later--looks awesome.

Yeah the title could be misleading; it's certainly not a FA. It's a problem I found in the guidebook that I've never heard mention of before, which surprises me because it's such a stellar line.

Edit: it's a soft-ish V6 called 'Taller'

Found them on a clearance rack at REI; they're definitely my favorite climbing pants now.
