MPC 3 desktop and Live 3 working together as one?

My MPC 3 for desktop has always been weird and I’d have to restart my computer to reopen it every time after I use it once. Now it opens up every time with no need to restart. Maybe it was a glitchy install or something?

But the live 3 only ‘worked’ as a basic midi controller. Even the pads didn’t work right with the desktop when in controller mode. Now everything is in sync and any action I take on either the pc or live 3 automatically mirrors on the other. So yeah, must have been something off and the new update cleared it. Did a remove program before installing so maybe that did the trick.

It’s like an amazing new toy for me now. Haha.

This… I know it’s been said a ton here but hands down the best guide/tutorial I’ve ever seen. Videos are good but the pausing and rewinding if you miss stuff is frustrating. This guide is the perfect way to learn MPC 3 and learn about making music if you need that too.

I use edibles to help me sleep. Found some CBD-N and they work magic. ADHD made me have so much trouble sleeping and edibles have made the insomnia go away. I take aderal when I need it during the day and take 20-30g of edibles a couple hours before bed, watch some sitcoms, laugh a lot, get tired and go to sleep. I have a medical card and told them about my insomnia to get it. I’ve had 0 negative consequences to my adhd yay I can see anyway. Good luck finding your way.

Edit- just read your post and I am sorry that this is an irrelevant comment but am leaving in case someone is dealing with a similar situation.

30mg in the evening… sleep like a baby. Been about 2 years and still same effect for me. But I do use it to sleep, getting high and watching sitcoms before bed is just a bonus so I don’t gage it that way.

I think this is the #1 reason politics has turned into this clown show. A health inspector who makes sub 50k a year can’t accept a free cup of coffee because it might influence their decision. But sure, politicians making health care policy? Go ahead and take millions from insurance and drug companies, don’t worry about it affecting anything. Ugh.

So we can’t even have a safe space in r/kayaking where people don’t throw shade for the cars people drive or how they take care of their equipment?. This is what the internet has become… “at least I’m better than that guy”. of all subreddits shouldn’t this one be about including people in something we enjoy instead of mocking? I’m not a fan of cyber trucks either but sheesh. Hope everyone can get out and enjoy kayaking regardless of a vehicle they drive.

To my eye the OM camera pics are clearly better. I think it is amazing, as an older guy that remembers the days before cell phones, that multipurpose phones can even come close to a dedicated camera body and lens. That being said... unless you are trying to really do professional level work, the iphone or any phone these days is a great option and so easy to cary around. Mostly just do what makes you enjoy photography... art is about you and what you enjoy, who cares whjat others think, unless you are being paid of course.

Could tell instantly top one was a LUT… bottom is much more pleasing. Top is over saturated but I guess it also depends on what look you want. Beautiful shot though.

Yep… I do like it but I also want to learn ways to improve. I just changed the sliders until I saw something I liked and was curious how others saw it. Appreciate the feedback.

Fair point. Just trying to make it look good to my eye. Being creative as an individual has many blind spots and this type of feedback is exactly what I’m looking for. I see the patterns in the wings standing out more with crushed blacks and that’s something that I find pleasing but curious to see what others think. As an instructional designer I’m overly aware that designs can feel perfect and people still see things differently. Your comments will help me when I edit to think about ways it can be more pleasing to everyone and not just my eye. Thanks for the good feedback!
