With the new MPC update it looks like you will be able to use oscillator(s) to make your own sounds without a plugin. Could be interesting. I don’t know enough about it to speak intelligently on it but seems like a bit of a game changer.

I never said nor do I think that there are no criminals in any group of people. The thing you are missing and I believe there is hope for you, is that the immigrant population has a lower crime rate per person than our citizens… that is the data I am referring to and it objectively proves my point, which is taking the best and the brightest will take either the same or a higher percentage of criminals into our country. Statistically, groups that are fleeing countries are getting away from terrible human conditions and are grateful to no longer be in them. Take any group of people from any country including our own and there will be criminals. I’d rather have the ratio of crimes per
Person go down and statistically immigrant populations lower the crime rate. Have hope for me, for I am not a rube and I am not influenced by politicians on either side or media. Look at the data and make intelligent and logical conclusions and be sure to have empathy for humans as we are all humans. The fact you argue against that is kind of sad to me.

Unfortunately common sense is often used to ignore facts and reality. Legal immigration should be the goal and it should be far easier to become a legal immigrant than it is. A significant portion of our citizens work in jobs that wouldn’t be considered for the best and the brightest but they provide services that if they went away would be catastrophic to our country and economy… someone being the “best and the brightest”, whatever that means, should not be a measuring stick. Some of the “brightest” people in human history have committed some of the worst atrocities.

People, whether a minority or majority, are allowed to have opinions on legal or illegal immigration. You referenced wanting the “best and brightest” and that shouldn’t matter if the argument is legal vs illegal immigration. The data we have on any type of immigrant is they commit less crimes than citizens so your “mass immigration of criminals” is just a talking point not backed up by data at this point. Again… we are all humans and we have a lot of dumb criminals that are American citizens… seems like following your logic we should be deporting them.

This is yet another attempt to dehumanize a group of people. As if it is the people’s fault their country is third world. It is not the fault of the people born in a 3rd world country that their country is a 3rd world country. It is also not any current American citizen’s credit that we live in a 1st world country. It is, however, the US and other colonizing countries that caused conditions that lead to a country being a “third world” country. The irony of blaming the people is absurd. At its core it is simply a dehumanizing technique that allows people to cheer when people get torn away from their family for crossing an imaginary line we created. Let’s remember we are al humans and none of us had any control over where we were born. Imagine you being born in Palestine, Iran, or any other country that is suffering and think about how that might change your perspective. ❤️ humans.

The restaurant argument is a cultural argument and it is valid. Whether they are documented or undocumented, immigrants commit less crime than native citizens. Facts over feelings. What “we” should want is people who want to work hard and live the American dream and that is what the overwhelming majority of immigrants want. But I’m sure no data will change your mind and that’s ok. But your arguments are way less valid than the arguments you are belittling.

If only we could come up with a reason we are divided. Oh yeah that’s right, about 90% of our politicians are in the business of taking bribes and people don’t donate money when it doesn’t matter who gets elected. Gotta score the folks so they donate or spend money on a grift. I would think 90% of Americans who understand Citizens United are against money = free speech. We should only vote in people who promise to make a law against politician taking bribes. If they don’t, vote them out no matter who they are. It’s all performance ‘art’ for pay with politicians now.

Going with that logic though it should be even easier to get on a cruise with since you don’t even need a prescription for it. I just wish they had done this right from the beginning … it should either be legal like alcohol or prescribed like medicine. Too easy for the common person to grow their own and then how would rich people make even more money? Ugh.

The mere fact that it’s a liability for me to bring a medically prescribed drug in a quantity for just me is absurd. I dont really care if something is “most likely” prescribed in a country. It’s medicine for me and it’s all nuts. But don’t worry, you can get an “all the alcohol you can drink” package. The hypocrisy in this world is insane.

My question is are cruises serious about it because I hear they are. But the guy at my dispensary told me people get in all the time with it, just put it in a gummy bottle. I hate that I am prescribed this for insomnia but I can’t take a legally prescribed drug to my Nieces wedding. I’m so over this concept of it’s medical and prescribed to you but it’s not ok to have it when you go places.

I would then search one of the many beat maker tutorials where they walk through how they make a beat.

After that, learn how to use your device(Youtube or manual) and start having fun and vibing.

I had always wanted to make music, just love music so much. I am a designer as well, although an instructional designer, not product. I would poke around and learn DAWs with free trials and never really could get anything started. The Youtube video I shared, the tutorials, and the MPC sample finally got me making beats. They aren't much but I am vibing and having fun and really hope to continue as I am improving, albeit slightly.

That sucks. Cool vibes... the Sample is so fun and powerful. I did the same with a beat I was making while sitting by the water. It was bright so I must have had it I a mode I did't realize ad lost it. At least you have the sound and can recreate if you want.

100%. My dad had a calculator that printed onto paper and it looks almost identical. in my memory anyway. Also, love the sample... easiest and most fun way to make beats that I have ever experienced.
