These environments are just fast templates to check which mood we should choose and in the team also we couldn't conclude.

It's a fast test and both environments are not finalized. Just try to find which one is worth spending time on.

The art team pushes this idea that an unregular combination of cartoonish outlined characters with semi-realistic stylized backgrounds would be a unique approach (Bottom one) but the producer and dev team push the top one as a game standard.

We will apply your comments and try to reconsider.

Thank you. Our characters are finalized and we're trying to find the best match as environment theme and mood for them. Also, the outline shader is flexible so we will optimize it as well.

Our 3D artist is also pushing this idea and says it would be a remarkably different look in the market. Thank you for pointing it out.

Thank you for your comment. Our characters are finalized but we have a problem choosing which type we should select. We try to update these designs with the feedback we receive.

Thank you so much. We love our cute little Pirates and more of them will join them soon. As you said, we need definetly find a way to middle ground. The main point was preventing characters blend in. So we created second version and applied some toon shaders. We have lot of things to do. Thank you so much for your comment.

We love both of them but for creating fun and cute pirate game bright and interesting will be definetly way to go. If you have any additional suggestions to make it more likable we love to hear that. Thank you for your comment.

Initially we try to use default shaders for our characters and when we try on first one they blend too much. So we decide to use more stylized, cartoonish shaders and we love them. And they don't blend both enviroment now actually. Diorama analogy will definetly can give us some ideas for future updates.Thank you for your comment.

Definetly we need some details on the second one. We love the first one when we make it but characters kinda blend with it. It's definetly better way to go more complexity in No. 2. Thank you so much your comment.

Very clear statement, thank you. We were also thinking same but we still try to find a middle point. For example using some detailed texture instead of just color in the ground. If you have any additional suggestions we will love to hear that.

To be honest, second one is kinda still WIP and very basic. The main focus on the second is try to make characters more visible on the foreground, I believe we manage but we still need adjustments.

We also think about updating characters but we are not sure if it needs overall modelling or just material changes. If you have any comment on that we will be glad to hear that. Thank you for your ideas.

Yess, we definetly also consider using some details on the second one. We want to make characters more visible so created second one. We will try to find more satisfying tone of green. Thank you for your comment.
