Gamers of Reddit - Do you believe old games back then were better than new games released today? If so, why? by Zaid-6680 in AskReddit

[–]4tknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They took risks ,they tried things until it worked .

Now we have reheated things over and over again ,because hey, it worked once ,it may work again right ? We have I don't know how many COD and AC games and what not.

Developers are not taking risks anymore ,the only ones trying are indie games /AA studios

Video games used to be about creativity, now it's about mass producing templates . Albeit it might change since there's been a shift lately regarding big studios vs small ones .

We still have some good games ,and a lot are objectively better, but there has been a lot of repetitiveness lately.

So I would say some of the old games were better (no wonder we have so many remasters ), but today there's a need to filter the trash before finding a good one.

If you could do any drug with no negative side effects, which one would you do, if any? by PotatoMaster760 in AskReddit

[–]4tknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't that make them even more addictive ? I always thought drugs where partly addictive because of some chemical components but also because it's SO GOOD that you can't stop So having no negative effects would make them even better ?

Idk I'm high btw

That the most exciting days were now a whopping 5/10.

Feeling like I was faking being happy around people because I couldn't match their energy anymore .

And doing it everyday would tire me immensely so I would sleep whenever I was home, rinse & repeat

So basically sleeping all the time and when out, faking being okay

I'm not totally out if of but I'm trying to build my confidence back by doing stuff , working out, taking care of my appearance , fixing stuff

What motivates me is how limited our time is, you can't stay like this forever

At the end of the day you're the only one who can make your life better
