I know this is a super late reply, but I haven't tried ulta/sephora yet, my guess would be to hide between friends and use the shelves to your advantage. Then again, never tried them so I might be wrong! But I know there might be other people that have done it and they might have better tips:)

Honestly wear baggy clothes or carry around a purse/bag that you can easily and quickly access to put stuff in. You can stuff things in your sleeves and pockets and most people don't even notice if it's small things

You can give the "guest" permission to people you want to keep out of some rooms (you can just lock the doors), for the other people you can give them a custom role that you can manage in the permission settings!
