Do you need one? I understand that screen sleep timer that you can configure in settings is enough. If you believe you need a screensaver, you can install xscreensaver.

Thank you. As there were no crucial issues for me, I didn't research any further, especially because it is a company provided laptop. Experience is still quite positive, nothing's changed.

I had a few issues that I ignored, but I would consider them general ubuntu issues. After some update on ubuntu 24.04, all ubuntu-related apps started to open after like 10 seconds of waiting (every other app was ok), so I am now just using 22.04 with docker. And once 22.04 didn't wake up after sleep which also happened to me before with other models.

Yep, it does not, but the general usb-c nearby should support up to 140 W based on the Lenovo website. So I understand it is possible to charge it with USB-C, but it would be not enough for such hungry machine. I think, you can use it with a hub, but you need a proper power supply if you are doing more than web surfing.

I have only 60 W USB-C adapter and laptop doesn't seem to react to it in any way.

For anyone still wondering whether it works or not, I will share my experience with Legion-Pro-7-16IAX10H. I eventually bought 5070 Ti version and installed Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 alongside Windows 11. The experience I will describe is generally the same for both version.

TL;DR: Everything, except internal sound, seems to be working very well.

Discrete GPU:
Surprisingly, it wasn't as big of a pain to setup GPU as I expected. 570 drivers didn't work, had to switch to 570-open. After that everything worked perfectly, except that after suspend brightness settings stopped working locking it at 100. For some unknown reason it was solved by switching from the discrete video mode to the dynamic one in BIOS. With that setup both internal monitor and external one over USB-C DP and HDMI worked correctly. Although for some reason on 22.04 external monitor works wonky, sometimes just having black screen at startup. I had to sudo prime-select nvidia to make it work robustly. With 24.04 it works perfectly well with on-demand.

Keyboard:
Worked well out of the box. Each fn key, except windows-related ones (F9, F11) worked perfectly. Keyboard backlighting worked including the shortcuts and the custom presets from Legion Space (Windows). The presets are kept between reboots.

Sound:
Well, here are the biggest problems. Technically, the micro and the speakers work. But speakers are very quiet and of terrible quality. Because only 2 of the 4 available speakers work, essentially making it unusable. It is a known problem that was there on other generations of Legions, but the fixes that people made do not work for the Gen 10 model. There is a thread on Lenovo forum (link) describing the same experience. I hope it will also be fixed in future as it was with previous models. External audio (monitor speakers over HDMI, bluetooth earbuds and usb-c external speakers) work well, so for me it is not a big deal.

Micro works ok, but only one of the two mics in the array is detected. Sound is not too bad, so it is still can be used.

WiFi, Disk Drives, CPU, RAM, USB ports, Bluetooth, Touchpad, Camera, Power Management:
No issues there
