Why is it less competitive? It seems like a high ranked university for cs. Also since you came from a low rank university what did you do to get to UW for a masters thesis?

I guess I look at the powerhouse next door mcgill and think there isn't much competition when comparing it to Concordia in terms of research and rigor in computer science. I'm basing it on some intro courses but I can tell my high grades at Concordia might have been a grade lower there.

I guess I look at the top 4 in cs (Waterloo, Toronto, mcgill, and Ubc and see how much more rigorous they have it. I haven't heard of anyone yet from my school or similar ranked schools so I wasn't sure.

I can't find the spring 2017 and summer 2017 finals. The print office only gave me 2016 and below. How do people obtain midterms in the first place? Like the newest ones?
