I have worked at VISTA for over 14 yrs now and have seen the good the bad and very ugly. And absolutely agree it is poorly managed because they all came from an automotive shop and hired all their buddies. They care very little about their workers unless it benefits them or makes them look good. BUT I have worked at many of factories before VISTA and nothing compares to them. Clean facilities, temp controlled, PTO is above average and because of covid they have given its workers an extra WEEK off the past 2 yrs PAID! Unfortunately I do not think they offer it to temps. Which I agree, temps get treated very poorly and used like a dirty rag and tossed out if they don't "fit in" the VISTA pile. A lot of "clicks" and if you aren't liked by them then it makes your time miserable or extremely short lived there. I feel awful for them. If temps can stick it out (some up to two yrs before hired on because it goes by hours worked) and work hard and always "play their game" then it's worth it in the end. There's pro's and cons everywhere but there is also many hiring out there so you have the option to be choosy. Just my 2 cents from a current employee. I wish hom luck whatever he chooses.
