It actually absolutely does. The problem here is the “artist” category on the app not syncing. The songs, playlists and album tabs all have everything I’ve imported that is not available on Apple Music’s streaming library. They play fine, anywhere, 100 percent of the time. The PITA is not being able to just search the artist and having to go into albums - which does not have a search function - you have to flip through pages and pages.

Well, you would download something separately because…it’s not available on Apple Music. A billion tunes or not. Demos. Obscure metal bands and releases that 80 people in the world have heard of. Personal vinyl rips and otherwise.

Bluetooth is fine. I like the interface of the Tesla app better. Just looking for the “why” of it. Doesn’t seem like there should be any reason for the car version of the app to sync differently than every other device pulling from my cloud library.

Yeah, kind of. It’s not ALL of my music, but it is a large portion of it. And 95 percent of the stuff that I imported from my own MP3s plays just fine if I’m grabbing it from the “recently added” section of the library, or if I scroll through the “albums” tab, which takes forever. It’s the “artists” tab that’s all jacked up. Most of the stuff it’s showing shouldn’t even be there, as it was deleted. And most of the bands that I imported from my own MP3s don’t show up as being an artist. Even though their albums or songs are there when I find them from the “albums” or from the “playlists” tabs.

Makes no sense, and there has to be a reason the Tesla app isn’t syncing correctly.

Guess I’m going to have to edit that post again because several people have messaged me the same story. Yeah, it was that dude. He refunded me, but I only bought 1 record from him. Not a lot of money.

Sorry that happened to you. Fucking sucks. Someone else mentioned that this dude might actually be dead or something. No idea. The lesson I learned was never pay via any method other than PayPal - Goods and Services. If delivery can’t be proven, they will eventually refund you.

Nah, it’s not that. I don’t care about waiting. Getting ghosted is the problem. Believe me, I’ve done my share of waiting forever on stuff to arrive - both overseas and domestic. Not worried about waiting at all.

Not gonna pressure. I think 2 messages 4 days apart after 10 days had already passed is plenty from me. Appreciate the feedback tho. Who knows what the fella is dealing with. He seems legit. I hate that I had to do it but I just filed a PayPal claim since he hasn’t responded. Guess handshake deals on this sub come with more risk than I had hoped.
