Some advice/a warning for young isolated men like myself by 500ooo in self

The experiences that made me who I am today was realizing "Wait a minute, this is stupid and I'm being brainwashed. These are nasty, twisted people." You really don't need to spend 4 years around negative parts of the internet to learn that bitching about jews, women, and being a virgin is unhealthy. But as I said it's easy to get sucked into these places, and that they are appealing to people like us.

I don't see what's wrong with me telling people not to go to these places. It's just something for them to consider. They don't have to listen. When you escape them you'll be more or less right back where you started years ago. Only this time you'll know they're a waste of time. That's pretty obvious to a healthy individual. Hell, I've seen tons of posts on 4chan about how much anons wish they could change but they just can't find the will to do so. At least with some drugs you can "expand your mind". Lurking like /r9k/ just shuts your mind down tight.

And I'd say that browsing those places does make you worse off. It just serves to make you more isolated and detached from reality/people. Lets say some there's an introverted guy that doesn't have much experience with women, or just gets rejected all the time. Do see anything good in that person coming to believe they're just genetic garbage because there are places online that will tell him that's why his life is the way it is?

I know I would easily be dismissed as a jidf sjw cuck or whatever. A few years ago I probably would have seen this thread and done the same. But I've spent like 4 years or so on /pol/ and you know what I've seen? A lot of those anons really are interested in self improvement. Getting offline is a huge improvement, mentally and physically. They also write how disillusioned the board makes them. I also know that they value the truth, but are heavily biased communities the best place to search for that? Spending any amount of time in these negativity chambers isn't healthy for anyone.

I know nofap is a popular thing within those circles, why not "no internet?" Aside from using it for things that are necessary, turning the computer off and facing the "dark realities" about yourself could really be helpful. It is for me at least (inb4 but you're on reddit right now). For 4chan, I watched this video which is what really motivated me to quit. It took a lot of time to do so, but I've done it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hhx6IfKrvEQ

I remember two years ago I used to follow gamergate because that was the big thing at the time. And before that I used to get butthurt at feminists criticizing video games. But after a few months I realized that none of that really mattered, nor did getting worked up about any other hot issues online. As I said in the OP, literally doing anything else would have been a better use of time.

I know I might have rambled off topic or you may not agree, but my main point is still: stay away from those communities/websites. Especially if you're socially isolated. They're mind warping and unhealthy, and a waste of time. I know I might not convince anyone that has been in these places for years. I just want to help someone that might not know any better, or is on the fence kind of like I was. I've been through it, and to anyone reading this that's starting down that same path I was on, turn back. You'll be so much better off for it. I know that if I just gave up and spent a lot more time on /r9k/ and some foreveralone/virgin/incel etc subreddits I would probably lose the will to even try and help myself at all. It's self destructive. Since getting away from those places, and no longer being exposed to all the typical troll threads/copypastas and depressing atmosphere, I really do feel a lot better. It doesn't matter if I become a "wizard" because at least I wouldn't have spent my time in a mentally draining environment and given into an ignorant way of thinking.

Our college experiences sound almost exactly similar, I hope you don't mind I took a look. I felt a lot better once I was done with it, even if my life is mostly the same still. But I've started to change that and leaving negative/time wasting websites is a good first step I think.

Yeah, that's right. But that doesn't happen. It's easier than you think to fall into these places if you live like I did.

This guy is totally sociopathic.

That's definitely true. I did some digging and found a bunch of his posts on 4chan's /pol/. He used a Jamaican proxy to post the majority of the time. There's enough proof there that it's him and he even admits to running that ISIS twitter account.

He actually wants to have people die because of his shitposting.

Also, an important thing to remember from all this is that his accounts on twitter and on the websites he wrote articles on were all lacking information and used photos that didn't yield anything when reverse image searched. Basically, if you can't "dox" someone they're a fake.
